Its a beautiful fall day today and Ive enjoyed my first cup of coffee outside on my back deck. As I listen to the birds sing, and watch these enormous squirrels jumping around, I savor a quiet moment alone before my day begins.
For whatever reason, its moments like these, which don’t happen very often, that I begin to think and reminisce about the past, my life, people in my life and experiences I have shared with them along the way.
A myriad of people come to mind that have been in my life that no longer are. People who Ive met through friends and business acquaintances that I have lost contact with over the years and family living abroad.
A few people are no longer here and are only in spirit, and I suppose I think of them most often, as I can never be with them again.
I feel blessed and saddened at the same time to have known the people I have known. I wonder about the ones who are out there somewhere, how are they and what are they doing. Are they doing well, what do their lives look like now. Have […]
